Maggie's Restaurant on Channel 4
Lynn restaurant Maggie's, will be featuring in an episode Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares on Tuesday December 5. Viewers can expect a few fireworks, as chef Nick Anderson exchanges words with the fiery celebrity, and ends up kicking him out of his restaurant. The restaurant, formerly called Rococo's, had it's name changed as part of a make-over.

Christmas lights switched-on
The Christmas lights are now switched on! This year there are lots of new low-energy tree lights, looking very pretty in blue. We plan to bring you some pictures soon. Huge crowds attended the lighting-up ceremony on Thursday, at the junction of High Street and New Conduit Street. Borough Mayor, Ann Clery-Fox, switched on the lights at 6pm, and two real reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh were also in attendance.

Several new shops have opened in the New Vancouver Centre in time for the Christmas rush. In Broad Street, Card Factory is a bargain-price card shop. There's also Diamonds and Pearls selling jewellery. Meanwhile, in New Conduit Street, Millets has opened selling outdoor wear and Adams Kids is selling children's clothes.
