The displays will explore a range of fascinating themes including Lynn's medieval and maritime heritage, the development of the town and life in the country.

Objects on display will include the fantastic Victorian fairground gallopers made by Norfolk craftsman Fred Savage. Some of the museum's most popular exhibits will also be back on show, including Horace the tiger.

Easter 2008 will then see the opening of another new gallery, 'Seahenge' that will feature the unique 4,000 year-old timber circle. The display will include a walk-in replica, alongside many of the original timbers excavated from Holme beach.
