    Linnets win the Southern League

    King's Lynn FC have been crowned champions of the Southern League after beating Merthyr 2-0 in the final game of the season.

    King's Lynn will now be promoted to the Football Conference.

    On your marks for the 10k road race!

    King's Lynn 10k Road RaceThere's still time to register to take part in King's Lynn's Great East Anglia Run. The race, which will take place on Sunday 4 May, will attract athletes and charity runners alike and already has over 1800 registered runners.

    This is a fast, flat single lap course winding its way through historic King's Lynn, starting and finishing in the town centre's Tuesday Market Place and taking in the newly refurbished Walks and town centre. The course has been changed very slightly from 2007 making it a wee bit faster!

    Ideal for wheelchairs and an excellent venue for spectators, it will have a wonderful atmosphere that only a town centre race can create.

    There are not many races that can boast a double Olympiad (Paul Evans) and a running legend (Ron Hill) of being involved ...

    Atomic Kitten headline Festival Too 2008

    Atomic KittenGirl group Atomic Kitten are expected to draw large crowds to this years Festival Too. Also appearing will be 80s pop queen Toyah Wilcox in one of the biggest and best line-ups in recent years.

    T-Rex and Led Zeppelin tribute bands, The Commitments and the winner of KLFM's Battle of the Bands competition will also be appearing at the Festival which takes place in the Tuesday Market Place between June 28 and July 12.

    Full line-up:

  • Saturday, June 28: Red Hot Soul Band/Festival Fireworks (Band stand on King's Staithe).

  • Friday, July 4: T-Rextasy and Boot Led Zep (Top tribute bands) Tuesday Market Place.

  • Saturday, July 5: KLFM Battle of the bands winner, After Hours, Toyah Willcox (Tuesday Market place).

  • Friday, July 11: The Commitments (Tuesday Market place).

  • Saturday, July 12: KLFM Battle of the bands winner, Kuda, Atomic Kitten (Tuesday Market place).
