Easter Family Trail – WWT Welney

Family trail and arts and crafts to celebrate Welney’s spring inhabitants and the importance of wetlands just like Welney. Learn about the wealth of wildlife which uses the wetlands at this time of year. Normal opening hours. Normal admission applies. www.wwt.org.uk

 

Easter Fortnight – Church Farm

Lambing season is in full swing over the Easter Fortnight. See all the breeds of sheep and goats having babies. Get up close to the new born lambs and give them a cuddle. Lamb petting sessions will be held everyday. There will also be hourly tractor rides.

All the other animals are having babies at this time too, so look out for baby rabbits, piglets, goat kids, calves & ducklings. Admission – Adults £7.00, Children £6.00, Concessions £6.00, Family prices £24.00, Children aged 2 or under are free. Indoor Tree house play area, Tea Room & Gift shop. Free Family Easter Activities – Zero Waste!

Thursday 14 April at Gaywood Library
10.00am – 3.00pm

• Make recycled Easter Baskets
• Decorate reusable cloth shopping bags
Pop in to take part in free activities to give children and parents easy ideas how to reduce, reuse and recycle waste at home. Waste reduction officers will also be on hand to answer any questions about waste disposal, reduction and recycling.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult..

Easter Fun Day in the Walks

Come along and celebrate St Georges Day. Dragon trail, dragon mask making, mini-fencing, archery, circus skills in the arena, have a go at skateboarding and BMX.

The King’s Lynn Free Runners will be putting in an appearance at the event – showcasing their gravity-defying parkour skills. The event will also feature the first ever public performance by Street Wize, a local street-dancing club. Entry free of charge but payment is required for some activities.
