King’s Lynn is to benefit from the arrival of two new stores over the coming weeks. The two stores will both be taking over empty units on the St Nicholas Retail Park.
Sue Ryder will be opening a shop for donations of records, CD’s, books, musical instruments and furniture.
Sue Ryder are currently looking for volunteers who have a good knowledge of music to help them sort and price donations of records and CD’s, and research prices online via the Internet.
The store is due to open around the end of March.
Lituanica Retail will a bring a taste of Eastern Europe to King’s Lynn, with a 5,400 sq ft retail unit on the St Nicholas Retail Park.
Lituanica currently trades from seven shops across the UK and stocks produce from all over eastern Europe, including Russia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
The store is due to open in “early summer” according to Lituanica.
This means that only one unit on the retail park will be left unoccupied.
Other retailers already on the park include Wickes, Farm Foods and Asda. Also trading on the park are Dominoes Pizza, the Carousel Cafe and the Munchbox Burger Bar.
