Kings Lynn landmarks in miniature -Lilliput Lane

Over the years Caithness Crystal have commissioned Lilliput Lane to produce limited edition models of various famous buildings and landmarks in King’s Lynn.

This year an exclusive model of St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham will be on offer.

Sandringham has been the private home to four generations of sovereigns. The house was first opened to the public in 1977 — The Queen’s Silver Diamond Jubilee year — so it is most fitting that Caithness Crystal has commissioned Lilliput Lane to produce this beautiful model of St Mary Magdalene church on the Sandringham Estate to celebrate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee during 2012.

Lilliput Lane: St Mary Magdalene Church Sandringham

The Queen spends Christmas at Sandringham House and it has become the official base of the Royal Family until February each year — which is why Lilliput Lane have also produced a snowed version of the church.

This famous Church (seen on our television screen every Christmas) has been used by the Royal family as a place of worship since Queen Victoria and is considered to be one of the finest carrstone buildings in existence, dating back to the 16th century.

Each piece is uniquely numbered and production is being limited to 2012, (available as snowed or unsnowed versions).

This exclusive piece will be on sale from Saturday 21st April 2012, priced at £27.95 each.

Reservation orders are being taken now on 01553 765111 or at the Visitor Centre, Paxman Road, The Town Shop, Norfolk Street, King’s Lynn, or online at www.caithness-crystal.co.uk
