Pirate actors will be rampaging through the town centre kidnapping local personalities on Saturday as part of a free event for Hanseatic Day.
“We are recruiting children to act as special constables to capture the pirates and put them on trial in the Town Hall, and we still need a few more volunteer children to take part.” said Angela Reeve, who is helping to organise the event for Trues Yard, the Tourist Information Centre and the Vancouver Quarter.
The Pirate Rampage takes place on Saturday 19th May from 10.50am – 2pm. It’s a free and fun day for children aged 7 -13 and all the family. Even a lunch box is is included!
