‘Walkasaurus’ coming to The Walks
Dinosaurs will be coming back to life in The Walks on Saturday 19th May.
The free event called ‘Walkosaurus’ is the first chance in 65 million years to get up close and personal with dinosaurs, as Australian animatronics company Erth bring their ‘Dinosaur Petting Zoo’ to King’s Lynn, in partnership with Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
Children of all ages can get up close and personal with these amazingly life-like creatures during this fun-filled event and get hands-on access to the Dinosaurs. They may even become a tasty part of this exciting show if one of the Dinosaurs takes a fancy to them!
The Norwich Puppet Theatre will also be helping children create their own prehistoric puppetry masterpieces, alongside fossil digging and modelling workshops courtesy of Mad Science.
Dinosaur petting zoo shows will be held at 12:00 and 3.00pm, Mad Science workshops at 1:30pm and 4:15pm. Places are limited for the workshops, so you should arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.
On a lighter note, there’s a Plant Sale in the Walks on Sunday 20th May – 12:00 to 17:00 (rescheduled from 14th April)
