Get cycling for a nurse!

Norfolk Hospice Cycle For A Nurse Emma

The Norfolk Hospice is holding its first ever ‘Cycle for a Nurse’ fundraising event.

They are calling for cyclists both keen and casual to take part in this 10 or 20 mile cycle around West Norfolk to help raise much needed funds and awareness for the Norfolk Hospice.

The cycle ride is to sponsor a nurse, so any cyclists willing to dress as a nurse are welcome to do so! Sponsor a nurse and maybe remember a loved one as you cycle around West Norfolk. Whatever your reason for joining, you can make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.

The cycle ride starts at 10.00am on Sunday 30th September, from The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House. Registration costs £10 per adult, £5 for those under 16 years and a family registration costs £20. The fee may be paid through the Norfolk Hospice online shop – byfollowing the Event Registration link – or by cheque or debit/credit card.

You can register online, or by downloading and completing the registration form or by telephoning 01485 542891 for an application form, or pick up a form in one of the many Norfolk Hospice charity shops.

The Hospice are urging cyclists to sign up soon to start getting your sponsors using their sponsorship form. They say they are hoping for an amazing day and hope to raise £1000s of pounds for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.

After completing the ride, cyclists can join a BBQ at the Norfolk Hospice – burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be available.
