Two very lucky people are sharing a prize of £1,000 worth of shopping vouchers to spend in King’s Lynn stores ahead of Christmas.
On Thursday, the Vancouver Quarter and the Borough Council handed over £500 worth of shopping vouchers to Danielle Oz and Emma Bately, who won them during the Christmas Light’s Switch On event last month.
Danielle, a teaching assistant from Wisbech, said “I had to be told twice before I believed I had really won. I’ve already been doing lots of window shopping getting ideas for what to buy.”
Emma, from Downham Market, is a keen member of the Clandestine Cake Club, and plans to buy more baking equipment with her vouchers.
Handing over the vouchers outside the Christmas Grotto were Vancouver Quarter Manager Abbie Panks, Borough Counsellor David Pope and Town Centre Manager Alastair Cox.
