Motorists warned of delays in town this weekend

Signal Light

Motorists have been warned that there may be a slight increase in delays and congestion in King’s Lynn next weekend (Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June) because normal computer co-ordination of traffic signals will be affected by work on the power supply at County Hall, Norwich.

Traffic lights will continue to operate on street, but the normal optimisation of timings by the Urban Traffic Control (UTC) computer will be suspended during periods when power is switched between main and interim supply. The County Hall power supply is being updated as part of the major refurbishment of the building that began last year.
