Vulcan Bomber set to soar over King’s Lynn on one of its final flights

Vulcan XH558

The skies over King’s Lynn will feature a farewell flight from a star of British flying heritage this weekend.

The legendary Vulcan XH558 has King’s Lynn on its flight path as part of its V-Force Tour.

The Vulcan is expected to reach Lynn around 3.15pm on Sunday 28th June, hopefully flying down river, and then tipping its wings in salute above the Ouse Sailing Club, before continuing on to RAF Waddington.

The Ouse Amateur Sailing Club will be holding a special Sunday opening in Ferry Lane from 2pm to 6pm.

The flypast and timing is subject to weather conditions permitting.

Full details of the route with maps can be found at http://www.vulcantothesky.org/salute-to-the-v-force-tour
