Elizabeth Nockolds, Michael Saunders (Lovell) and Rob Harman (Hughes)

West Norfolk’s brand new online lottery West Norfolk Wins is now live with the first draw set to take place on Saturday, 26 May 2018.

There is a chance of winning up to £25,000 each week. For players who sign up in time for the first draw there is an additional prize of a 50″ smart TV kindly sponsored by homes developer Lovell and a sound bar sponsored by Hughes in King’s Lynn.

Over twenty good causes have already signed up for the lottery, giving players plenty of choice over which charity or cause they wish to support. A further 15 good causes should be added in the next few weeks.

Cllr Elizabeth Nockolds, deputy leader of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk said: “We have been delighted with the response we have had to this lottery in terms of the number of good causes that have signed up. The main purpose is to encourage people to support local charities and organisations but at the same time to give them a chance of winning up to £25,000. For the first draw we also have an additional prize of a 50″ smart TV and sound bar, thanks to local sponsors Lovell and Hughes.”

Tickets cost just £1, with 50p going to the local good cause, and 10p going into the West Norfolk Wins Community Fund. 20p goes towards the prize fund and the rest covers admin and VAT.

Tickets can be purchased online in blocks of one to 12 months. Payment is by direct debit or debit card.
