As part of the Burney Festival visit Charles Burney’s music room and see the costumes, instruments and furniture typical of his life and times. Discover more about Charles Burney’s friends, a collection of interesting and extraordinary people. Read about the life of the ‘Literary Phenomenon’ Fanny Burney a pioneering female novelist. See prints and portraits of the Burney family (provided with help from the National Portrait Gallery). Beginning at the Saturday Market Place and ending at the Tuesday Market Place, this walk shows the development of the Town, it's power and wealth, from 1100 to the present day and takes in familiar and less familiar buildings. Meet outside Tales of the Old Gaol House. Tickets £5 adult, £4 concessions and £1 children. For more information and to book contact 01553 763044, King's Lynn TIC at the Custom House.
