Their mission is to be available around the clock, to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.
The Samaritans is entirely dependent on voluntary support. It’s a challenging experience and it can be very rewarding, knowing that you may have made a difference.
You can help the Samaritans by either becoming a listening Volunteer, a support volunteer, becoming a Friend of King’s Lynn Samaritans or by making a donation to their funds.
