The Norfolk Hospice is more than just a building – it is a hub of services for patients to receive either in their own home or at the Hospice – and offers a range of holistic care and therapies to people with cancer, neurological and other life-limiting conditions.

Our purpose is to help patients and their families by providing timely, compassionate and professional care and much needed support.

At The Norfolk Hospice we try to ensure that our patients, and those close to them, can live life to the full, have relief from pain and suffering and experience peace, respect and dignity to the very end of their lives.

Since 1984, our Hospice has been providing skilled and compassionate care to people with cancer, neurological and other potentially life-limiting conditions.

Our Hospice is founded on a philosophy of holistic care. Simply put, we aim to care for the person, encompassing the physical, emotional, practical and spiritual needs of patients, Furthermore, we offer a range of services to families and carers, all of which are tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

The Hospice offers its vital service free of charge across rural Norfolk and the Fens and it simply would not be there without the local support we receive. It takes in excess of £1.4 million each year to run the Hospice and over 93% of our costs are paid for by the generosity of individuals, organisations and community groups. We hold many fundraising events throughout the year and details of these are posted on the www.kingslynnonline.com website as well as on our own website which is www.norfolkhospice.org.uk.

We also rely heavily on volunteers and so if you have a few hours to spare and think that you might like to volunteer in one of our shops, as a driver, directly caring for the patients, in our fundraising office or at one of our fundraising events, we would be delighted to hear from you. Our telephone number is 01485 543163.
